Analysis
of Existing LAN/WAN Infrastructure
& Security
As
companies IT requirements grow, sometimes systems are added without
proper analysis of existing infrastructure and without proper design.
As a result, networks may have weaknesses in one or more areas listed
above.
At NetPlus we
specialize in analyzing existing LAN/WAN infrastructure and recommending
improvements and upgrades to meet the above goals. During the analysis
phase, some of the information that we gather are about:

LAN/WAN
Infrastructure Design & Deployment
Based on the network analysis report, customer requirement,
and budget, we design the network and if necessary we deploy a pilot
or prototype to do proof of concept. The design is reviewed internally
at NetPlus and is presented to the customer for approval. The design
document along with bill of materials and pricing is presented to
the customer. Customers have the option to purchase the systems
from us or from another source.
At NetPlus we
deploy:
- Multilayer
Ethernet LAN desktop and core switches with VLANs, QoS, security
and high availability using fiber optic and copper wiring as necessary
- Remote user
and small branch office connectivity with VPN over Internet using
existing firewall or dedicated VPN appliance
- Branch office
connectivity with dedicated links using RIP/EIGRP protocols for
interconnecting few sites or OSPF/IS-IS protocols for large number
of sites with complex internetwork. We will work with the customer
to select a service provider for ISDN, Frame Relay, T1, or T3
service which is reliable and cost effective
- Internet
connectivity from simple one-link static route solution to multilink,
multi ISP solutions with high availability and load balancing
using BGP routing protocol
- Firewalls
with strong Intranet security with public access to DMZ servers
- Intrusion
detection systems
- In-building
and building-to-building wireless LANs with robust 802.1x and
WPA security
- IP Telephony
and VoIP solutions integrated to existing PBX systems
- Authentication,
Authorization, and Accounting servers using TACACS+ or RADIUS
protocol

Documentation
At the end of the system deployment phase, our engineers furnish
the formal technical document. In addition, we can work with your
IT personnel to create or enhance the following documents:

Training
At the end of the documentation phase, we conduct onsite personnel
training on maintaining the deployed systems. We also offer additional
custom training as well as IT certification training at customer
facility.
